Ahead of a busy 2023 touring and finishing her third album, Clémentine March shares this collection of 4 songs recorded between 2020 and 2022, the first single being Silence, a meditation on how contemporary noise and chatter alienates and the need for restoring the body and mind. The accompanying video is a domestic massage session, directed by Clémentine and director of photography Sabina Claici. My Empty Town (the song) was written during the pandemic, and the themes refer to that period, though nothing has really changed, and this collection showcases Clémentine March's versatility in music genres, from bossa nova to jungle beat, 90's alt rock and slow motion waltz. Clémentine is touring with Sweet Baboo in the UK in February and March (22 shows), and is currently making her third album. My Empty Town EP is available on digital formats, and a limited run of cassettes.
